SHOW FORMS

AQHA Novice Permit Forms no longer required - While at the Show Managers Summit , the Show Council recommended to the Executive Committee that novice competitors be allowed to participate without permits. An exhibitor could show a horse in a novice youth or novice amateur class, with the owner still retaining the ability to show the horse in any classes other than the same class as the novice. Exhibitors will be required to purchase a novice amateur or novice youth membership to participate, and all novice eligibility rules will still apply. This option is not available to competitors at the top 10 show circuits, which will be determined by the number of entries in the previous year. This recommendation was reviewed and approved by the Executive Committee, to take effect July 1, 2010. The goal is to remove a barrier to participation, limit unnecessary paperwork and ultimately grow AQHA shows.

Area 1 Rules of Conduct

  • Trailers are not to be plugged into the barn or hooked up to the water.

  • Please be advised that all stalls that are booked and that are not cancelled 14 days in advance must be paid for.

  • All horses staying over must have a stall for safety reasons.

  • No Dogs roaming loose on the grounds. Dogs must be on a leash or tied up at all times.

  • Under no circumstances are horses to be turned loose in any area either day or night.

  • If you are plugged into another trailer, that is considered a hook-up and you will be charged full price.

  • Please do not hook  water directly to your trailer, as water is not included in your hook-up. You may fill your water tank as needed.

  • Please be sure that all outstanding bills are paid before leaving the grounds.
